The RayNeo Air 4 Pro Batman Edition is a cosmetic variant of the standard Air 4 Pro. It costs $319 against $299 for the standard model, and the difference is industrial design, custom packaging and a themed light shield — the display, audio and internals are identical. RayNeo sells two character variants: the Justice Edition (Batman) and the Chaos Edition (Joker).
If you are trying to work out which one a product listing is talking about, that is the answer: “Batman Edition”, “Justice Edition” and “Limited Justice Edition” all refer to the same thing.
What the Batman Edition actually is
RayNeo announced the Batman Edition of the Air 4 Pro at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, alongside the standard model. The Air 4 Pro itself has been available globally since 27 February 2026.
The limited editions are positioned as a style play rather than a specification upgrade. In RayNeo’s own framing, they are for “everyday cosplay expression” — the idea being that the glasses double as a piece of wearables-fashion rather than being purely a screen.

What is actually different
| Standard Edition | Batman / Joker Editions | |
|---|---|---|
| Price (US MSRP) | $299 | $319 |
| Display | HDR10, 1,200 nits, 200,000:1 | Identical |
| Audio | Quad speakers, B&O co-tuned | Identical |
| Weight | 76 g | Identical |
| Spatial tracking | None | None |
| Industrial design | Standard finish | Character-specific design |
| Packaging | Standard box | Custom packaging |
| Light shield | Included | Themed light shield |
The short version: you are paying $20 for looks and packaging. Nothing about the picture, the sound or the fit changes.
The light shield is the one functional twist
Every Air 4 Pro ships with a light shield that blocks ambient light for a more immersive picture. On the limited editions, the shield gets a character-specific design and, per RayNeo, doubles as a cosplay prop.
This is a small thing, but it is worth noting because it is the only part of the limited edition that does anything the standard model does not. If you wear the glasses outdoors or in a bright room, the shield matters more than you would expect — and a themed one is at least as functional as the plain one.
Justice Edition vs Chaos Edition
RayNeo’s US store lists the two variants under different names from the press materials:
| Press release name | US store listing | MSRP |
|---|---|---|
| Batman Edition | Air 4 Pro Limited Justice Edition | $319 |
| Joker Edition | Air 4 Pro Limited Chaos Edition | $319 |
Both retain the full standard feature set. The choice between them is entirely aesthetic.

Pricing, and why you might see different numbers
RayNeo ran early-bird pricing for the first month after launch, which is why you will find several different prices quoted for the same product online.
| Region | Standard Edition | Limited Edition |
|---|---|---|
| US (MSRP) | $299 | $319 |
| US (launch early bird) | $249 | $269 |
| EU (early bird / MSRP) | €299 / €339 | — |
| UK (early bird / MSRP) | £249 / £289 | — |
If a price you see is well below $299, it is almost certainly either an early-bird price that has expired or a promotional discount. The $299 figure is the number to compare against.
Is the Batman Edition worth the extra $20?
Only if you want the design. This is not a trick answer — the limited edition genuinely buys you nothing measurable.
Buy the limited edition if:
- You like the way it looks and would wear it out
- You want the custom packaging as a display piece or a gift
- The $20 difference is immaterial to you
Buy the standard edition if:
- You care about the picture, the sound and the fit — which are identical
- You would rather put the $20 toward the Sound Tube, which does change your experience
- You are buying these as a functional display rather than a fashion item
The Sound Tube comparison is the one to take seriously. It costs around £15 and adds roughly 15 dB of effective volume while cutting audio leakage by up to 80%. That is a real improvement to how the glasses work. A themed light shield is not.
What you still get either way
Whichever edition you buy, the hardware is the same:
- HDR10 display — the first AR glasses to carry the badge, with 200,000:1 contrast and 1,200 nits peak brightness
- 98% DCI-P3 coverage at ΔE < 2 colour accuracy
- Quad speakers co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen, with Whisper Mode 2.0 leakage control
- 76 g with a rear-biased weight distribution (46.7% front / 53.3% rear)
- No battery — powered entirely by the host device, with up to 100 W PD passthrough
- No 3DoF — the display is fixed to your head
Frequently asked questions
What is the RayNeo Air 4 Pro Batman Edition?
It is a cosmetic variant of the standard RayNeo Air 4 Pro, announced at MWC 2026. It has the same display, audio and internals, with character-specific industrial design, custom packaging and a themed light shield.
How much does the RayNeo Air 4 Pro Batman Edition cost?
$319 in the US, against $299 for the standard edition. Early-bird pricing at launch was $269 for the limited edition and $249 for the standard model.
What is the difference between the Justice Edition and the Chaos Edition?

No. The specifications are identical. The only differences are the industrial design, the packaging and the design on the light shield.
